“Sites and Spaces of Mobilization”

Faculty Fellows and Graduate Student Fellows will provide a copy of their scholarly papers that speak to this year’s theme of “Sites and Spaces of Mobilization.” Each paper will be discussed through a peer review and workshop-style seminar on January 6 and 7, 2024.

In preparation, please review the following instructions:

1. Each paper must be roughly 10-15 pages, double-spaced, using font size 11 or 12, and with page numbers and one-inch margins.
2. Please use this format as a file name for your paper: LASTNAME_TITLE.
3. Papers must be uploaded either as a Word document or PDF. All papers must be uploaded before 27 December 2023.
4. Click HERE to upload your paper. (You will be directed to a Google Drive folder and will be asked to sign in. Once logged in, please upload your paper by clicking “New” and “File upload.” Please do not email individual papers.)

During the workshop:

Each author will be given 10-20 minutes to present the highlights of their paper. This will be followed by 20-30 minutes of peer review and discussion.

Please note: There will be eight (8) papers for review and discussion. We will aim to dedicate 40 minutes per paper. Faculty Fellows and Graduate Student Fellows are expected to have read the papers closely, and prepared meaningful feedback, clarifying questions, and/or recommended edits for each author.
